ARE YOU GOING TO HOLD THE SEPTEMBER 2021 RUN AT THE PARK 5K/10K?

January 2021

At the conclusion of conversations with both city and county officials and reviews of current state mandates and guidelines, Rancho Racing has determined that, at this time, it is neither safe nor feasible to plan for any races in 2021.

Our organization had to modify or cancel all of our 2020 in-person events and, at this time, are suspending all of our events for 2021. This suspension will continue until permits for large events are available in San Bernardino County and race planning and registrations can begin again safely. This action will, hopefully, allow us to operationally weather this global health crisis until we can safely stage our races again.

Near term, this will mean that:

  • We will not organize the April 2021 Angalls and Demens 5K/10K Trail Run
  • We will not organize the September 2021 Run at the Park 5K/10K
  • We have suspended grants for organizations that support our race day efforts

We hope to see you on the trails and roads again as soon as possible.

Description

Don't miss the race that has something for everyone! The 2nd Annual Run at the Park will take place on September 26th, 2020 at Rancho Cucamonga's Central Park. Our 10K is the perfect option for runners who seek a rewarding and fun race distance. Our flatter and faster 5K course for 2020 is a great option for runners at every level. And the Fun Run is a great way to get the whole family involved with your racing weekend! With stunning views of Mt. Baldy, time on the historic Pacific Electric Trail, and a lightning-fast finish, it's the Inland Empire's newest fall classic. Registration is open and will sell out quickly, so make sure to reserve your spot!

Run at the Park 10K

The race will begin promptly at 7:00 am. Runners should begin lining up for the 10K no earlier than 6:50 am.  Runners should line-up according to expected race pace — quicker runners at the front, slower runners to the back. For those walking the event, please place yourself at the very back of the pack to minimize any disruption of other runners.

Run at the Park 5K

The race will begin promptly at 7:30 am. Runners participating in the 5K should wait until the 10K race has started and cleared the start line area before lining up for the start of their race. Runners should line-up according to expected race pace — quicker runners at the front, slower runners to the back. For those walking the event, please place yourself at the very back of the pack to minimize any disruption of other runners.

Kids' Fun Run

The Fun Run will begin at 8:30 am. Each child will be given a participant bib that must be pinned to the front of their clothing. Parents may run with their children (only one parent per child). Parents who do not run with their child can retrieve them after they exit the Finish Line area.
